  • Every week someone here asks “is this free credit legit?” — so here is a short checklist we use before registering for any free credit offer in Malaysia. Save it, and check these 6 things before you sign up, not after you win.

    1. Is the turnover written down?

Turnover (wagering) is how much you must bet before free credit winnings can be withdrawn. Example: RM10 free credit with x30 turnover = RM300 total bets. x20–x30 is normal. Above x50 for a small credit, skip it. If the terms only say “ask customer service”, that is a red flag.

    2. What is the max withdrawal?

Almost every free credit has a cap (RM50, RM100…). Even if you turn RM10 into RM800, you only get the cap. A low cap is fine — a cap that is hidden until you try to withdraw is not.

    3. Which games count?

Most offers in Malaysia are slots only, and live casino often counts 0%. Some also have a max bet per spin — break it and the winnings are voided. This guide explains how free credit slot offers work, which slots count and how to size your bets.

    4. Register properly

Use your own phone number and a bank account in the same name you register with — a name mismatch is the #1 reason withdrawals get rejected. One account per number/bank/device. Register through the link that carries the promo code, otherwise the offer may never attach. Full walkthrough here: step-by-step free credit register guide (Malaysia).

    5. Mega888 “free ID” offers

Mega888 itself does not give free credit — platforms and agents do, usually as a “free ID” with a small balance. Only install the APK from the platform’s official site, never from a random WhatsApp link. More on free credit Mega888 offers and what to check.

    6. Scam warning signs

    • They ask for your online banking password or TAC code (no real platform ever needs this).
    • Pressure to deposit “now or the free credit will be cancelled”.
    • Support disappears once you ask about withdrawal.
    • APK download from an unofficial link.

Two or more of these? Walk away and post it in the Scam Alert section so others know.

18+ only. Free credit is a trial, not income — set a budget and never chase losses.
